Spring Word Writing

We created a word chart with descriptive words for "spring".  I added a few more words on the white boards.  The girls assembled in front of the word "butterflies" and the boys congregated around "baseball", leading me to capture the moment on film!

Everyone contributed to this chart!  The children drew their favorite places to read and practiced writing sentences.  This assignment will be coming home after the break!

Toy Day!

The children may bring a toy to class on WEDNESDAY, 3/9!  The children earned letters to spell "president" from the teachers in computer, spanish, music, and PE.

If possible, please choose toys that fit in the backpack.  :-)

It Makes Me Smile

We've Been Seuss-ified!

 

Our week with Dr. Seuss has been memorable.  Tanner shared an awesome game (Cat In The Hat--I Can Do That!) with us and we rolled on the floor with laughter!  The children have been reading together, creating original Seuss-like characters, and adding to their journals.
