Signs Of Spring

Forsythia

YeeHaw!

We tore paper and decorated cardboard tubes
to simulate a campfire.
It was placed in the middle of our gathering rug.

This friend nearly lassoed the horse!
gave us an opportunity to strengthen
comprehension skills and compare
characters from one story to the next.
"A Wild Cowboy" was the perfect choice
to explore inferences through illustrations.
We made "wanted" posters...for good behavior!

Zephaniah 3:17

This week's memory verse is especially dear to my heart.
For many years, Zeph. 3:17 has brought comfort and joy to me.

“He will take great delight in
you, He will quiet you with his
love, He will rejoice over you
with singing."

This verse is a bit longer than our other memory work.
You may wish to print this out and attach it to an index card.

Wind

The wind was glorious on Wednesday!  We shared the bubble wand, but the wind did the work!  We also checked the direction of the wind with our paper props.

Pajama Day

The children are working on writing
during literacy stations.
Above, you can see a story in progress.
Below, words are ordered for sentences and then written.
We also write lists for our theme words!

This is a photo I snapped from the Living Earth App.
A-MAZING!

A Seusstastic Week

"Oh, We Had A Ton Of Fun!"
Hilarious hair, silly sunglasses/socks, wacky Wednesday,
and a busy birthday....
we had a fantabulous time in kindergarten this week!
