Smile

This chart lists things
we learned in kindergarten.
We could have filled several pages
with our thoughts about our learning!

THANK YOU for sharing your children with me!
We had an AMAZING year!

May Days

Mother's Day Gifts
Write-The-Room
"treasure"/"pirate"
Sunny Day Words
We unscrambled vocabulary words and wrote them!
"Hungry Shark!" Poem Building
Sentence Building
At this station, we chose an article, an adjective,
a noun, and a verb to build a silly sentence.
Each week, the listening center held a new book for us to enjoy!
How many words can you find in
submarine?

This jar was filled with clean water.
To demonstrate the ravages of pollution on the environment, particularly rivers and ponds, we added bits of our trash
(and a few coffee grounds).
Can you see the plastic frog at the bottom of the jar?
Yuck!
Pete The Cat, one of our favorite book characters,
shared his new book with us.
He thinks subtraction is groovy!

Frogs and ice Cream

They go together, right?!  Well, maybe not in the real world, but we can make anything sympatico in kindergarten!

How cute are they?!
The girls added hair and adornments to their frogs.
Happiness!
Comprehension!

This student wanted me to know that her frog is vomiting.
This is why the flies aren't neat little dots.
~Art Project~
Torn Paper Ice Cream Cones
"Melting Into Summer"
This project was a success for everyone.
It is now one of my favorites.

One more pic....
We made ladybugs during Insect Week.
We fed them our favorite foods!
